Congratulations to our 2019/20 Major Award Recipients
Anthony Glyn Burton
Anthony is a Communication PhD student studying politics on the internet. He is the recipient of the SSHRC CGS Doctoral Scholarship and the Provost Prize of Distinction.
Carina Albrecht
Carina is a Communication PhD student studying social network "thinking" from a perspective that engages both technical and social sciences. She is the recipient of the SSHRC CGS Masters Scholarship.
Thomas Dickson
Thomas is a Communication Master's student interested in political communication, online participatory cultures, and film and online media studies. He is the recipient of the SSHRC CGS Masters Scholarship.
Lauren Knight
Lauren is a Communication Master's student who wants to bridge Indigenous perspectives within soundscape research and methodology to consider how such techniques are controlling via surveillant practices and mediated listening. She is the recipient of the SSHRC CGS Masters Scholarship.
