2019 Rotary Peace Fellowship

Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution is one of Rotary International’s key areas of focus.  The Rotary Foundation through Rotary Peace Centers at 7 universities offers programs training the next generation of peace leaders.  Since 2002, these universities in Australia, England, Japan, Sweden, The United States and Thailand have graduated more than 1100 Peace Fellows doing various peace keeping/peace building related work throughout the world.

Do you or anyone you know have a passion for more peace in our world with humanitarian service as a chosen career?  This is an invitation to explore this amazing Rotary opportunity for interested applicants to apply for the upcoming 2019 programs.

Timeline:

At the international website, a submission to the district is due by May 31, 2018. 

However, in our district's process, this represents the 2nd level of review the first level review at the club level.  Once the club recommends the applicant, the applicant will be invited to the 2nd level of review by a district selection committee to determine district endorsement to the final level of review at the world level.  Applications are NOW accepted.

This means applicants are to apply NOW for the 1st club level review.

There are 50 Rotary clubs in our district.
