Visual Computing Co-op - Information for students

SFU visual computing students complete a mandatory co-op placement as part of their degree. Co-op is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on work experience by applying the skills and knowledge they obtained in the classroom to real world challenges or to simply branch out and learn new things. The visual computing co-op can take various forms, such as a placement in industry, a research position on campus, a project, or specific coursework.

Students in the Visual Computing specialization will be able to apply the technical skills that they learn towards areas such as AR/VR/MR, design and manufacturing, education, VFX, medical imaging, robotics and autonomous driving.
