About Zhejiang University
Finding its home in the city of Hangzhou, in the Zhejiang province of China, Zhejiang University is consistently ranked as one of the top 3 universities in China. It began its life in 1897 as the Qiushi Academy, one of the earliest higher learning institutes to be established in China. Although it has since undergone many developments, it has maintained its original academic objectives of “Seeking the Truth and Pioneering New Trails”.
As a comprehensive university with a diverse range of disciplines, Zhejiang University has a lot to offer students from overseas. Its first intake of international students was in 1979, and since then over 20,000 students from all corners of the globe have enjoyed the culture and beauty of this unique institution.

As a DDP student, you will be enrolled in ZJU International College for your courses in Mandarin as well as the School of Computer Science and Technology for your computing science courses.
