Key Dates

Course Registration and Deadline

Registration priority will be given to people who have not previously attended the course. Registrations for students who have previously attended a Bee Masters course will be processed after Monday, January 30 provided that space is available.

 

Course Registration Deadline: Friday, February 20, 2009

 

Course Fee

The course fee is $275 CDN and includes all sessions, course materials, refreshment breaks, and a light buffet reception and social hour (cash bar) on Monday, March 9.

 

U.S. registrants should pay by credit card (MasterCard or Visa only, please) or by Canadian bank draft.

 

Parking

Day Parking is available on campus in the West Mall Visitor Parkade for $20 CDN for the week (Monday-Friday) payable in advance with course registration. Passes will be handed out at the Registration Desk on March 9. If you choose not to purchase a pass, please note that Daily Visitor Parking costs $2.75 per hour up to a maximum of $11.75 per day.

 

Note: if you are staying in one of the hotel rooms on campus, parking is included so you will not have to purchase a parking pass for the Visitor Parking lot. If you are staying in one of the dorm rooms, you can park in the Guest Accommodation's parking lot for $6/day payable when you check in to SFU Accommodations.

 

Banquet

The banquet will be held on Thursday evening, March 12 at the Taverna Greka Restaurant. Tickets are sold at cost: $30 CDN per person.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

Written requests for refunds should be received by Conference Services by Friday, February 20. Refunds are subject to a $30 CDN administration charge.

 

Registration may be transferred to another individual; please advise Conference Services in advance of such a change. No refunds will be issued to participants who fail to attend the course without prior notice.

 

How to Register

Online

Complete the online form. You will be given the option of paying for your registration fees online via a secure server (Visa or MasterCard). Sorry, Simon Fraser University does not accept American Express or Diners Club.

 

All credit card transactions will be processed in Canadian dollars and are subject to current exchange rates.

 

By Mail or Fax

Complete the online form and mail with your cheque or bank draft (in Canadian dollars) made payable to Simon Fraser University to the address provided below. Forms can also be faxed and cheques mailed separately. Note: Faxed or mailed registrations will not be processed until payment is received.

 

Confirmation of your registration
If you register online and pay by credit card, you will receive immediate confirmation via our server.

 

Receipts

An official receipt is automatically forwarded to the registrant via email when payment is made online by credit card. If you pay by cheque, you will be given your receipt at the conference registration desk.
