Accommodations
You are responsible for making your own accommodation arrangements. Special conference rates have been negotiated at The Ramada Downtown Vancouver Hotel and the YWCA Hotel. Both hotels are within easy walking distance of Simon Fraser University’s Harbour Centre campus. The downtown campus is located at 515 West Hastings Street (on the corner of Richards and Hastings).
All hotel rates are listed in Canadian dollars.

This small European-style hotel is located only one and a half blocks from SFU’s Harbour Centre campus. Your room rate includes complimentary high-speed wireless in rooms and a buffet breakfast (with hot items) served from 6:30-9:30 a.m.
Taxi Service to the Ramada
The current taxi fare is approximately CDN $32 from Vancouver International
Airport to the Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver. Travel time from
the airport to downtown Vancouver is 35-40 minutes. Make sure that
you tell the driver that you are going to the Ramada on West Pender
as there are several Ramada Hotels in the city.

The YWCA hotel has been called one of the finest “Y” accommodation facilities in North America and is not just for women travelers. The Y is close to the Vancouver Public Library and to Vancouver’s new “happening” district “Yaletown”.
