Graduate with the skills you need to work in employment counselling or career development
In this four-month Career Development Practitioner Certificate program, nine focused courses will teach you about career development theories, career planning and assessment, job research, job development, job search skills, group facilitation, career program development, and more.
Two practicums in employment service agencies will give you four weeks of invaluable experience in the field, in addition to vital networking opportunities.
After this hands-on training, you’ll be ready to plan and implement detailed career development programs for clients, offer employment counselling services, lead Job Finding Clubs, and develop job placements. You’ll also be equipped to pursue certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator and a Certified Career Development Practitioner.
