About

Where campus meets community

SFU Surrey is a vibrant hub for teaching, learning and research situated in the heart of downtown Surrey.

Ground in its institutional vision, the SFU What’s Next Strategy, SFU Surrey has been a social and economic driver of the region's growth and development for more than two decades and continues to transform the landscape of Surrey's downtown core.

With a footprint of over 600,000 square feet across six city centre sites, SFU Surrey is a dynamic environment where ideas thrive, community gathers and learning flourishes. The Surrey campus offers a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, along with continuing education courses, serving thousands of full and part-time students. Designed by the late Bing Thom, this world class destination campus is also home to numerous research centres and institutes.

SFU Surrey is privileged to be the unceded traditional territories of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Semiahmoo, Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt and Tsawwassen First Nations, and recognizes the Metis and Inuit people that call this region home.
