The Writer's Studio Community
TWS Reading Series
Each month, The Writer's Studio Community hosts a reading series that allows local writers to share their work with the public.
- Who reads? Current members and alumni of The Writer's Studio, local emerging writers and authors, and authors on book tours.
- Do the readings have a specifc focus? Many are mixed genre, some are thematic, and some feature a guest author.
- Where are the readings? Either the Take 5 Café or Rhizome Café, both in Vancouver, B.C. See the schedule below for locations, dates, and times.
Esmeralda Cabral and Jennifer Irvine, both 2010 graduates of The Writer's Studio, co-host the reading series.

Locations
Take 5 Café is at 429 Granville Street (at Hastings), in downtown Vancouver. These readings are usually on the second Friday of the month, from 7 to 9 pm.
Rhizome Café is at 317 East Broadway (at Kingsway). These readings are usually the second Thursday of every third month, from 7 to 9 pm.
