Content Management System (CMS) and B2B Service Vendors

Organizations are driven by volumes of data and content that require efficient and cost-effective management. Using a content management system (CMS)—technology that centralizes and manages content including editing, publishing, version control and more—makes your digital content smarter and more powerful. A CMS also provides a sense of control over B2B communications as teams struggle with information overload. However, with hundreds of technology platforms available, selecting a CMS vendor is not easy.

This course explores CMS fundamentals, including features, benefits, and determining if and when your organization needs a CMS. We’ll also take a look at how to evaluate, rate and select a CMS technology provider, along with other suppliers that deliver B2B communications services including PR, advertising and specialty marketing agencies. We’ll establish criteria for conducting a vendor review, setting budgets, and asking the right questions of potential B2B partners.
