Dreamweaver: An Introduction

Dreamweaver is Adobe's state-of-the-art web page editing software that web design professionals use to create complex and eye-catching websites. In this course, you’ll obtain a solid understanding of Dreamweaver's user interface and suite of web page editing tools. You will also get practical, hands-on experience building web pages.

You’ll explore the use of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to obtain consistent text treatment in websites and work with Dreamweaver's templates and library items—powerful tools that ensure consistent page layouts in large websites while allowing simple maintenance and redesign. You will work primarily in Dreamweaver's intuitive WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) environment, and gain a better understanding of the underlying HTML tags, which are the building blocks of all web pages.

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with Mac computers and basic word processing skills.
