BOOT300

Communications Planning for PR Pros

This hands-on boot camp is for junior and mid-level communications managers—from agency to in-house—who would benefit from an intensive introduction to strategic communications planning.

We’ll explore the basics, including research, strategy, tactics, measurement, evaluation and budgeting. This will include discussion of the RACE formula, effective tools and techniques, and selecting the right vehicle for your needs—is it an event, a press release or a Facebook page?

By the end of the day, you’ll have honed your planning skills, clearly understand the elements of an effective communications plan, and be ready to research, develop, and draft your own plan.

We encourage you to bring your laptop computer.
