Branding and Marketing in the Digital Age

While the principles of branding and marketing remain the same, the practical applications vary greatly in the social and digital worlds. In this course, you will learn how to engage your audience so that new and traditional methods of marketing work together seamlessly.

We’ll explore methods for building and expanding a brand in today’s market, effective ways to reach new consumers, and meaningful tactics to deepen client relationships. We’ll also discuss the changing world of advertising, the emergence of influencers, the pros and cons of the control that consumers now have over brands, and how to maintain brand consistency in look, feel, and voice across different platforms.

This course is available only as part of the Digital Communications Certificate.
