Arts-Based Methods for Engagement
It isn’t always easy to involve those who don’t feel comfortable in meetings, or to bring together individuals who hold opposing opinions. In order to involve diverse publics in the thoughtful exchange of ideas, you may need to design dialogue opportunities in innovative and creative ways.
You don’t need to be an artist to take this workshop or work effectively with arts-based engagement methods. We will explore examples that draw on a range of artistic media that invite diverse perspectives and bring people together to better understand and address complex public issues.
