SFU Indie: How to Become a Successful Self-Published Author
Today, self-published authors are garnering high acclaim and even higher book sales. The success of The Hunger Games and Fifty Shades of Grey proves that self-publishing is a viable option for many authors. Still, becoming a successful indie author requires more than just placing your book on Amazon or iTunes; an author needs to plan for success and create a great book.
By learning from professionals in the publishing field, you'll be introduced to the business of self-publishing and learn the basics of editing, design, and marketing. You will also learn about the self-publishing services available to you and how to find and work with freelance editors, designers, and marketers.
No matter the genre of your book—memoir, fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, or poetry—SFU Indie can give you the tools you need to make your book rise to the top of any bestseller list.
