Information Visualization

According to experts, online video and graphics will account for 90 percent of all Internet traffic by 2015. Since we learn and understand largely through visual representation, it makes sense for online journalists to learn about using information visualization tools and techniques to present data.

  • Analyze current visualization methods, tools, websites, and techniques
  • Focus on the basic technique of using visualization tools to present, summarize, and analyze data from a number of sources
