kc dyer was born in Calgary, and after a peripatetic decade or two, she now lives with a collection offspring and other animals in a village north of Vancouver, British Columbia. kc is the author of a number of books for young adults published in North America and the UK. Having a secret fondness for inducing nausea in teens, kc often shares some of the greatest grotesque moments in history with large groups of students of all ages. Her books include Seeds of Time, Secret of Light, Shades of Read [known collectively as The Eagle Glen Trilogy] Ms. Zephyr's Notebook, A Walk Through a Window, and Facing Fire.
