While active participation in the national democratic process might seem impossible, there are few barriers to participation in local district and city planning. We claim to value democracy, yet few of us take advantage of what it offers. Why? Come discuss how citizens can be more involved in the community planning process with Tegan Smith, the North Vancouver district transportation planner.
