Philosophers' Café

To live or die

Thu, 10 May 2012 5:30 PM

Who, if anyone, should have the power to make life-or-death decisions?

Open for debate: Philosophy on film

The word doxa means a belief or opinion that is tested in open argument and debate. With this idea in mind, The Philosophers’ Café, in partnership with DOXA Documentary Film Festival, will offer a special series of cafés dedicated to some of the most pressing, divisive, and fascinating issues of the day that are captured in documentary film.

Co-sponsored by DOXA Documentary Film Festival. Visit www.doxafestival.ca for complete scheduling information.
