In movies and novels, scientists are often portrayed as heroes or villains, and scientific achievements are often grossly exaggerated (ie. Jurassic Park). How do these portrayals affect our perception and understanding of science?

    Nick Harden is a professor in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at SFU. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and is studying how the migration and rearrangement of cells is used to build an animal.
