No Free Lunch: Individual, Government, and Corporate Responsibilities for Sustainability

Sat, 07 Sep 2013 1:30 PM
Industrial age

How can we work for a sustainable future? If “they”—our neighbours, the government, and corporations—are living with their heads in the sand, how can we make a difference? Most individuals follow the herd, and repeat the same things even when they have failed before.

We will explore personal, governmental, and corporate responsibilities for a sustainable future. We will also examine science, politics, religion, and the need to look at how our world differs from that of our grandparents, considering how this matters to us and to future generations. Are any unsustainable responses to today’s environmental and business issues really viable?
