    Kirsten Nowak embraces whatever the world has to offer, inviting others to ‘find the sunshine’ every day. A schoolteacher for many years, advocating for children with learning difficulties, she enjoys part-time work as a faculty associate and sessional instructor at SFU. She is also a life coach. It is with her students, both children and adults, that she gets the right perspective on life. She enjoys learning with them, taking risks, making mistakes, and celebrating transformation and renewal.
