Alison Acheson writes for adults and young people. Her most recent work is The Cul-De-Sac Kids, a chapter book. She has taught in the Creative Writing Program at UBC, and her students have won the Ethel Wilson BC Book Prize, the Governor General’s, the E.B. White Read Aloud award, and others. Her work, Mud Girl, was a finalist for the YA Book of the Year (Canadian Library Association), and Grandpa’s Music is on the IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People) list of books for children living with disabilities.
