Soma Banerjee

Soma Banerjee is currently a PhD candidate in history of science at the University of British Columbia. He has an MS in physics from the University of Arkansas and an MA in history of science and technology from the University of Minnesota.  

Banerjee's teaching interests are diverse and include the history of science as well as South Asian and world history. His current research uses approaches from history of quantum physics and post-colonial studies to examine India’s appropriation of modern science with the development of national consciousness during the first half of the 20th century.
