Liv Hung is a digital consultant, blogger and award-winning interactive producer. She currently works as an independent consultant specializing in digital planning and social media strategy. She is also an advisory board member for the conservation organization Sharktruth.
She has over five years of advertising experience on the agency side, and eight years of marketing communications experience. She was a connection planner and media buyer at Wasserman + Partners Advertising, B.C.'s largest independent advertising agency, where she created connection plans to help brands connect with their target audiences. As a strategist, she has helped many clients navigate the changing digital landscape, including some of B.C.'s most recognized brands: Vancity, ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and The Community Against Preventable Injuries.
Her work has been featured in the technology magazine Backbone and recognized by the Lotus Awards, the Applied Arts Interactive, and the Digital Marketing Awards.
In addition to teaching at SFU Continuing Studies, Hung has taught digital marketing at The Art Institute of Vancouver. She is the creator of the lifestyle blog A Beautiful Life, where she chronicles her love of the simple pleasures in life.
