Vlad Konieczny

Vlad Konieczny, BA, MA, is a freelance writer and instructor with more than 25 years of writing and teaching experience. He has worked in corporate, government, university, association and non-profit environments. As a freelance writer, he has written major publications for many clients including the Vancouver School Board, the Justice Institute of B.C., Vancouver General Hospital, ICBC and The Real Estate Foundation of B.C. As director of development publications at Simon Fraser University, he was responsible for writing proposals ranging from $5,000 to $1 million-plus. He also wrote and edited all publications pertaining to university advancement, including marketing materials, case statements, speeches and reports. Vlad has taught in this program since 1992.

He is also the author of two books: Glenn Gould: A Musical Force and Struggling for Perfection: The Story of Glenn Gould. Currently, he is working on a graphic novel.
