Christopher Morrissey

Christopher Morrissey is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Redeemer Pacific College. He trained in Classics (Greek and Latin) at the University of British Columbia and at Simon Fraser University, where he received his PhD.

His academic focus is on philosophy and literature. For this reason, his research interests include the mimetic theory of René Girard, the semiotics of Thomas Sebeok, the phenomenology of Robert Sokolowski, and the metascience of Aristotle (and his commentatorial tradition, especially Thomas Aquinas). His favorite poets are Homer, Shakespeare, and Hölderlin.
