Bekircan Tahberer
Bekircan Tahberer, born and raised in Adana, Turkey, studied to be a teacher of German, and then taught German, English, and Turkish and did translation for many years. He became interested in classical history from his research in German linguistic history and, later, ancient coins.
After publishing several articles on ancient numismatics, he completed his MA in the Department of Medical Ethics and History of Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at the Cukurova University in Adana.
A registered collector in his native country, he has amassed a significant collection of coins in order to create a numismatics museum.
