SFU Continuing Studies hosts 700 Vancouverites at open house events

SFU Continuing Studies invited the city of Vancouver to enjoy a free taste of its educational programs and community services at an open house on February 5, 2011.
In celebration of the unit’s 40th anniversary, Continuing Studies welcomed over 700 people from across Metro Vancouver to 21 different events—most of them free—at SFU Vancouver.
Free workshop and information session topics included writing career options, business skills for freelance writers, exploring the arts for social change, and more.
Several events, including a workshop for mid-career adults contemplating a career transition, were filled to capacity.
