Evaluation for Social Change and Transformational Learning
Coming September 2018
In our rapidly changing world, traditional evaluation alone is no longer adequate for measuring the impact of today's programs and initiatives. Individuals and organizations experimenting with solutions to complex social problems need a new suite of strategies and tools that are grounded in innovation, systems thinking and diverse ways of knowing.
Evaluation for Social Change and Transformational Learning Certificate
Part-time, in class and online
Our new part-time certificate addresses key and emerging critical issues in the field, including grounding program evaluation in complexity science and systems thinking. The program fosters multiple, diverse ways of knowing, including a focus on Indigenous ways of knowing. You will have the opportunity to think critically about dominant Western paradigms and scientific methods, and challenge your thinking about what is considered evidence.
Through a blend of face-to-face and online modules, our Evaluation for Social Change and Transformational Learning Certificate will help you to design transformative, culturally responsive evaluation processes that facilitate and support change and learning.
