Final Report on Age-friendly DVD

Seniors Program presents final report

The SFU Seniors Program is pleased to present its final report on its sixth Outreach DVD entitled: A Place for Everyone: Age-friendly Communities. The DVD was released in March of 2010, and has since been distributed to over 250 community centres, seniors centres, public libraries, and public policy institutes across the country. The report outlines the project's success in raising awareness about the need for more age-friendly transportation solutions, senior-friendly housing options, and the better public spaces. Dr. David Gordon Duke, Acting Director of the SFU Seniors Program, recently presented the report Ms. Celina Owen, a representative of the Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia, a main sponsor of the project.
