Saturday Forum | Thinking About Terrorism: History and Context

Professor Michael Fellman will discuss themes from his forthcoming book, Twisting the Cross: Terrorism and the Formation of Modern America. Terrorism is not merely attacks from outside, but also includes the responses to those attacks in a sort of terrorist exchange. Dr Fellman will illustrate his lecture with specific examples from late 19th Century American history.

Michael Fellman is Professor Emeritus of American History at Simon Fraser University and author of seven books, primarily on the American Civil War.
