This certificate does not have any prerequisites, but you need an excellent command of English as well as strong communication skills.
Register for individual business communication and professional writing courses
You may take business communication and professional writing courses without applying for the certificate program. You do not need to apply or submit an application fee.
If you decide to take the certificate, any courses you successfully complete before you apply will count toward your certificate, provided they are part of the certificate curriculum in the year for which you apply.
Check course descriptions for class schedules, prerequisites, and current fees. The course registration deadline for online and distance education courses is typically two weeks before the course start date. Classes fill quickly, so register early.
