Learn the essentials of interpretation and translation in only three months
SFU’s Mandarin Chinese/English Certificate in Interpretation and Translation is a three-month, full-time professional training program in downtown Vancouver. Based on the same instructional methods as our longer diploma program, it takes a practical and integrated approach to language, culture, and interpretation and translation techniques.
Study with certified interpretation and translation practitioners
Our instructors are all certified interpretation and translation practitioners who will help you enhance your linguistic and communication skills, as well as your cultural fluency. They’ll also ensure that you get hands-on interpretation and translation practice. You’ll graduate with the fundamental knowledge, skills, and experience you need to become an interpreter and consecutive translator.
