Simon Fraser University
Founded in 1965, Simon Fraser University offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs. We have approximately 32,000 students and 100,000 alumni.
The university, which is named after a famous explorer, has a worldwide reputation for innovative teaching and research. For the past five years, Maclean’s magazine has ranked SFU first among Canadian comprehensive universities. In Webometrics’ 2010 global ranking of universities, SFU placed fourth in Canada.
SFU’s three campuses are as distinctive as their award-winning architecture. Interpretation and translation program courses take place at our Vancouver campus, which is located in the dynamic and picturesque city centre.
