The Writer’s Studio

Tuition

Tuition fees for The Writer’s Studio are $4,100. Please remember that the cost of creative writing certificate electives is in addition to these fees and will vary according to the courses you choose.

Application fee

You must submit a fee of $275 with your application (refundable only if we don’t accept you). You must also submit a non-refundable reading fee of $60.

Learning materials

We’ll give you a list of required textbooks, if applicable, before your courses begin. We will provide all other course materials.

Scholarships

Thanks to the generosity of a number of donors, The Writer’s Studio will be able to provide two partial scholarships for the 2012 year.

Writing Mom Scholarship
The amount of this scholarship is determined by yearly donations.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please note in your letter of application to The Writer’s Studio which scholarship you would like, then describe who you are and why you need financial assistance.

Other financial aid

Because this program is part-time, it does not currently qualify for Canada or BC student loans. You may try to obtain funding through other sources, such as your personal banking institution.
