**This information is solely for the graduands who have been invited to give the convocation address**

Regalia Reservation

Follow the instructions for regalia reservation. On the day of your ceremony, pick up your gown and hat at the student regalia area in the AQ. Once you have your regalia on, PROCEED DIRECTLY TO STRAND HALL 3171.

The  Ceremony

You will gather in Strand Hall 3171 prior to the ceremony and process with the platform party.  The Registrar will see that you are in the appropriate place in the procession line-up, and will lead you to sit beside her in the front row on the platform until your speech is completed.

After the honorary degree is conferred, and the graduands stand for the admission, but before the graduands are presented to the Chancellor, you will be introduced and called forward by the President.

At the conclusion of your speech, you do not return to your seat on the platform, rather, exit the stage to your right (Library side), to be lined up to cross the stage with the other graduands . (Student Services staff will assist you in finding your place in the grad line-up.) After you cross the stage, you can follow the line of students, back to the student seating.
