Step 1 - Apply to Co-op Online
You can apply at any time throughout the year to Arts Co-op by completing the online Co-operative Education Application form. Please be sure to review our Requirements for things to consider before you apply. We will respond to your application within 10 business days notifying you of your approval to the program as well as your next steps.
Step 2 - Complete Intake Form and Pre-employment Curriculum

In the semester that you complete the Intake form you will also complete the Pre-employment Curriculum: the Arts Co-op Orientation, Bridging Online I (BOL I; please register in BOL I before filling in the Intake form), the co-op core workshops (resume, cover letter, interview skills), and attend a resume review session with a co-op staff member to receive personal feedback on your skills.

The application fee will be posted to your SFU Account upon processing of your Co-operative Education Application Form. Please allow one week for the charge to be posted to your account. At your convenience, verify the charge and make a payment to your SFU Account. Please note that it is not imperative that you pay the application fee immediately, you may pay the application fee with your tuition fees.
The basic Co-op work term fee for a four-month Co-op work term is $692.40, and includes workshops, personal consultations, ongoing support and resources. This fee is payable only when you have accepted a job and are officially registered in a work term.
