Students must be undertaking full-time studies. Direct entry high school students, international students, and mature students are all welcome to apply to the program. WORK PERMITS (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS)
Undergraduate students must be willing and able to commit to a minimum of 3 Co-op work terms ending on a study semester. Please see Apply to Co-op for deadlines.
You should ideally apply to co-op within your first three weeks at SFU (later may be possible, please see the co-op office to discuss). The fact that you are transferring units to SFU means that you should get involved in co-op as soon as you come to campus.

THERE ARE CERTAIN EXPECTATIONS OF ALL STUDENTS WHO JOIN ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES CO-OP:
You must make all the deadlines as outlined on the Apply to Co-op page.
In the semester prior to your first co-op job search you will complete the Pre-employment Curriculum: the Arts Co-op Orientation, Bridging Online I (BOL I), the co-op core workshops (resume, cover letter, interview skills), and attend a resume review session with a co-op staff member to receive personal feedback on your skills.
Effective immediately co-op drop in hours will be conducted via phone:
• Tuesdays 1:30–3:30, by phone (Victoria Cottell - 778-782-9701) or (Luisa Hallam - 778-782-5839).
