You can apply at any time throughout the year to Business Co-op by completing the online Co-operative Education Application form. Please be sure to review our Requirements page for things to consider before you apply. We will respond to your application within 10 business days notifying you of your approval to the program as well as your next steps. We recommend completing the application and the rest of the application steps within your second semester at SFU.

After submitting an SFU Co-op application, you will need to complete the Intake Documents prior to the deadlines listed below. Submit your completed document package to the Business Co-op office.

The application fee will be posted to your SFU Account upon processing of your Co-operative Education Application Form. Please allow one week for the charge to be posted to your account. At your convenience, verify the charge and make a payment to your SFU Account. Please note that it is not imperative that you pay the application fee immediately, you may pay the application fee with your tuition fees.
The basic Co-op work term fee for a four-month Co-op work term is $706.30, and includes workshops, personal consultations, ongoing support and resources. This fee is payable only when you have accepted a job and are officially registered in a work term.
