Students can apply at any time throughout the year to Computing Science Co-op; the earlier, the better. If you haven't already submitted your Co-op application, simply complete the online Co-operative Education Application Form today and be sure to specify Computing Science as your intended Co-op Program. We'll respond to you within 10 business days to advise you of your approval to the Program. Computing Science Co-op has specific steps that you will need to complete in order to be fully approved into the Program.
We do recommend you apply no later than 2 semesters prior to your first intended work term. For example, if you would like to complete your first work term during the summer semester, you would apply to our program no later than the fall semester. The following table may assist with your planning:

The Co-op Application fee is $125. Click here for details on the Refund Policy.
The application fee will be posted to your SFU Account upon processing of your Co-operative Education Application Form. Please allow one week for the charge to be posted to your account. At your convenience, verify the charge and make a payment to your SFU Account. Please note that it is not imperative that you pay the application fee immediately, you may pay the application fee with your tuition fees.
The basic Co-op work term fee for a four-month Co-op work term is $706.30, and includes workshops, personal consultations, ongoing support and resources. This fee is payable only when you have accepted a job and are officially registered in a work term.
