Thank you for your interest in the SFU Health Sciences Co-operative Education (Co-op) Program. Please follow the steps below to submit your application today.
Step 1 - Apply to Co-op Online
You can apply at any time throughout the year to Health Sciences Co-op by completing the online Co-operative Education Application form.
Please be sure to review our Requirements for things to consider before you apply.
We will respond to your application by e-mail within 10 business days notifying you of your approval to the program as well as full details of your next steps.
Step 2 - Complete Orientation and Pre-employment Curriculum

In the semester that you apply to the Health Sciences Co-op Program, you will also attend an Orientation, complete the Pre-employment Curriculum (Bridging Online I (BOL I) and the co-op core workshops (resume, cover letter, interview skills)), and attend a resume review session with a co-op staff member to receive personal feedback.

The application fee will be posted to your SFU Account upon processing of your Co-operative Education Application Form. Please allow one week for the charge to be posted to your account. At your convenience, verify the charge and make a payment to your SFU Account. Please note that it is not imperative that you pay the application fee immediately, you may pay the application fee with your tuition fees.
The basic Co-op work term fee for a four-month Co-op work term is $706.30, and includes workshops, personal consultations, ongoing support and resources. This fee is payable only when you have accepted a job and are officially registered in a work term.
