The Bridging International Learning (BIL) course is completed online through WebCT and brings together all internationally bound co-op students to discuss the key preparations you will need to make before leaving Canada, things to consider while you are away, as well as issues to consider upon your return. This course is an opportunity for you to share your excitement, get your questions answered, and obtain the information you need to make your International Co-op experience successful! The goals of this are to help you prepare successfully for your International Co-op work term.
1. Some of the issues BIL addresses include:
- work visa application
- accommodation resources
- pre-departure information and forms
- award applications
2. Help you adapt to a foreign environment and workplace
3. Support your learning and growth over the course of your International Co-op work term, and support you upon your return to SFU. If you've already been placed on an international work term, click here for BIL registration information.
