How To Apply

Please note, you must submit an application for approval into the Certificate or the Post Baccalaureate Diploma AND you must apply for admission to Simon Fraser University (if you are not already an SFU student): these are completely separate applications.

Our application for approval to the SCD program is subordinate to your application to the university for admission, and conditional upon an applicant receiving admission to SFU (if you are not already an SFU student).

The SCD Program application form is available from the Centre or online (click here to download).

Application deadlines the Centre are (although they are subject to change):
Fall (September): April 30
Spring (January): September 30
Summer (May): January 31

Western Deans Agreement (WDA)

Graduate students, including those from other universities, are welcome to take SCD undergraduate courses, providing there is room left after the undergraduate students register. However, this requires advance planning on the part of the grad student because undergraduate courses are not organized in the same fashion as graduate ones.
