Welcome the Strategic Sustainability and Community Infrastructure project website. On this website you can find information about the project in a standard webpage format located on the tab on the left. In addition, we have incorporated a SEE-IT developed by Visible Strategies as a way of organizing the findings from our research.
The SEE-IT is based on our research framework that seeks to understand the multiple opportunities that exist as communities move from planning to implementation (or from implementation to planning). The framework includes community actors, values and visions, governance structures, policy mechanisms and outcomes as five interacting and interdependent elements that together can be thought of as a community decision-making system - a way of strategically bridging planning systems with implementation systems.
