About Us
Heather Nyberg
Heather graduated from Simon Fraser University with both a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Certificate in Spanish in October 2002. Prior to joining the Office of International Development in Continuing Studies in May 2005, she enjoyed working in a variety of different departments at SFU. Her responsibilities as a Program Assistant for the Tier 1: Adult Education for Economic Development project, Tier 2: Reducing HIV Stigma by Education — Ghana project and the Open University of Sri Lanka — Capacity Enhancement Project are well suited to her interest in travel and culture. She brings to the position international teaching experience and hopes to one day further her career in International Development by pursuing opportunities in the field.
