Welcome to the website of the 2007 Canadian Undergraduate Physics Conference (CUPC-07).

CUPC is an annual conference, where around 200 undergraduate students in physics and engineering physics/science from across Canada, professors, invited speakers and guests gather to share their love of physics. This event is a fantastic opportunity for students to meet and socialize with their peers, present the results of undergraduate research projects, hear presentations by world-renowned physicists and learn about physics in Canada. Tours of local research facilities and a career/graduate studies exhibition will give students a taste of the exciting opportunities available to them.

This year’s conference will take place Oct 11th – 14th, 2007 in Vancouver

News

09/04/07: REGISTATION IS NOW OPEN!! Go to the Registration Page to register and pay fees!

08/08/07: The CUPC webpage is now in both English and French! Also, we have placed the CUPC logo at the top of this page! The logo was made by Dr. Karen Kavanagh of SFU Physics, using focused ion beams. As you can see by the scale on the image, the logo is only about 8 microns long, making it quite possibly the world's smallest conference logo!

07/07/07: We have (tentatively) confirmed the keynote speakers for our conference!  See the Speakers page for more information.  You can also now view our tentative schedule in the Program page.

We hope to have registration up soon; in the meantime, please visit the Registration page for more information.
