MEXT 2020 Research Student Scholarship

The Research Grants Council of Hong Kong is launching the eleventh round of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. The Fellowship Scheme will provide a competitive annual stipend as well as conference and research-related travel allowance per year for up to three years.

The application is open to candidates seeking admission as new full-time PhD students in the eight UGC-funded universities.

250 fellowships will be awarded for PhD studies commencing in the 2020/21 academic year. Initial applications will be accepted from September to December.
