A Brief Chronology of Chinese Canadian History
The Chinese Canadian History Project Council at the David Lam Centre is currently developing educational materials for use by schools, community organizations, and tourism to educate students, the Canadian public and visitors to Canada about the contributions of Chinese Canadians, over more than two centuries, to the building of Canada. “A Brief Chronology of Chinese Canadian History” is a large illustrated chart that provides a national overview of this history in a format that is ideal for use in schools. The document was written by David Chuenyan Lai (C.M.), Emeritus Professor of Geography at the University of Victoria and Adjunct Professor with the David Lam Centre.
