How do I access the system?
The system will send you an email invitation with a reference request. This email will contain a link to the system.
Each reference request will be stored in your ‘referee dashboard’ — but only if the requestors (students) use the same email address for you.
I did not receive the link to complete a reference. What do I do?
Ask the student to send you a reminder, a new email link will then be sent for you to acess the Referee Dashboard.
Why am I getting reference requests to different email accounts?
The requestors (students) enter your email address in their application form when they are requesting a reference. If you are receiving requests to different accounts and would like to amalgamate them to one Referee Dashboard you will need to let your students know the correct email address to use. If you are an SFU faculty member, we recommend using your SFU email account.
Please remember that if you are using a "cloud" email service such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook, you will probably end up storing student files on a US server, an action which is not permitted under BC's protection-of-privacy legislation. In other words, please use only your SFU email account for student-related files.
I made an error in my reference letter, how do I replace it?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org including the student name and award they are applying for, we will remove the letter so you can add another one.
